(ČIA) Lyckeby Amylex will more than triple its starch exports to China for the marketing year ending August 2021. The value of the supplies will reach approximately USD 6.6m. This was confirmed for ČIANEWS by the company's director Ivica Punčikar, who said that business with China will account for over 20 % of Lyckeby's sales. The company plans to complete investments in the modernization of the starch packaging line and shipping warehouse in 2021. At the beginning of the pandemic in the spring of 2020, the company saw an increase in sales because most customers wanted to pre-supply. Over time, there was a decline in sales in the gastro segment.
