(CIANEWS) - Czech Labour and Social Affairs Minister Marian Jurečka (KDU-ČSL) will propose to the government that the minimum wage should reach approximately 41 % of the average wage from January 2023. He said that his appeal to the social partners to agree on the minimum wage increase among themselves was still valid. He added that the decision to raise the minimum wage must also take into account the impact on companies to avoid a rise in unemployment.
