MEDIA CLUB predicts decrease in revenues

(ČIA) In 2019, MEDIA CLUB reported total net revenues for all traded media types of advertisements in the amount of CZK 4.63bn. A growth by CZK 278m y/y was caused by all segments. Growth in revenues from TV commercials reached CZK 258m, radio advertisements showed growth by CZK 10m and the online segment showed growth by CZK 6m. The business result before taxation was CZK 783m. The company informed in its annual report published in the Commercial Register that the original assumption of a stable development was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic primarily in the field of sales of radio and TV advertisements in 2Q 2020. The total decrease in revenues from sales of advertisements will likely reach hundreds of millions of CZK.
