Metrostav builds 800-meter-long bridge in Norway

The costs of building the bridge will reach CZK 1 billion and a similar sum will be spent for the construction of two tunnels, also by Metrostav. The whole project is planned to be finalised in October 2020. The two tunnels, Slørdalstunnelen and Mjønestunnelen, will be 2,700 and 700 m long, with the construction of the shorter one being more demanding due to an elevation difference of 35 m and the S-shape of the tunnel itself. Metrostav has recently completed several constructions in the Nordic region. Last year, the company finished the digging of the longest Iceland’s road tunnel Norðfjörður. The price of the project was CZK 1.5 billion, with one third of the project being secured by Metrostav’s Icelandic partner. - E15.cz -
