Mining investment: Finland most attractive globally

Altogether, the Annual Survey of Mining Companies ranked 91 jurisdictions around the world based on their geologic attractiveness for minerals and metals and the extent to which government policies encourage or deter exploration and investment. Finland moved up from fifth place in 2016 to take top spot in the Investment Attractiveness Index. The ranking combines the results of the Best Practices Mineral Potential index, which rates regions based on their geologic attractiveness, and those of the Policy Perception Index, a composite index that measures the effects of government policy on attitudes toward exploration investment. According to Mining Finland, there over 40 active mines and over 30 interesting projects currently in Finland. Furthermore, the country has a lot of unexplored potential that enables opportunities also in green field exploration. - Good News from Finland -
