(ČIA) Senators approved an amendment to the Labor Code, which includes, in particular, a change in the calculation of leave or a reduction in administrative complexity when issuing a certificate of employment. The proposal of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic (MLSA) regulates the delivery of documents to employees and employers, the posting of workers as part of the provision of services to the Czech Republic. It also increases financial compensation for survivors of an employee who has died as a result of an accident at work or an occupational disease. It also introduces the institute of a shared job. The amendment is to take effect on July 30, 2020.
