Mölnlycke opens new production plant in Havířov

Last week, the company opened a new manufacturing plant in the Dukla industrial zone in Havířov, Czech Republic. The new plant is Mölnlycke’s largest investment to date, CZK 1.8 billion, says Mölnlycke Chairman Gunnar Brock. The corporation plans to employ over 1000 workers in the plant by the end of 2018 to manufacture single-use surgical sets. The reason behind the expansion of Mölnlycke’s production is rising global demand for these cost-effective sets, which also decrease the risk of post-surgery infections. (Euro)
