Moore: 25% of managers in CR encountered the term ESG

(CIANEWS) - Entrepreneurship in accordance with ESG principles is less developed in the Czech Republic compared to Western countries. A survey conducted by Moore Czech Republic shows that 25% of senior managers and senior executives from medium and large companies have encountered the concept of ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance). Currently, only a few hundred companies are required by law to conduct ESG reporting. However, by 2026, the legislation will cover approximately 2300-2800 entities. Non-financial reporting will also have to be issued by listed SMEs in 2027. The market volume of ESG consulting will thus move into the upper hundreds of millions per year in three to five years from the current tens of millions. Globally, according to Moore Global's data, companies taking a proactive approach to ESG have increased profits by 9.1% over the past three years. This is two-and-a-half times more compared to a 3.7% increase for subjects lagging behind in ESG.
