MPO: Export strategy envisages higher presence abroad

(CIANEWS) - The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO) has prepared a new Export Strategy of the Czech Republic, which will determine the direction of exports for the next 10 years. It has sent the document to other ministries for comments. The material envisages the transformation of the domestic economy, strengthening global ambitions, improving the position of companies and diversifying export markets. Minister Jozef Síkela (from STAN) said that in addition to supporting exports, emphasis is placed on strengthening permanent presence on foreign markets, i.e. on establishing representative offices, branches and investments abroad. The aim is to make companies more resilient to possible future crises.
