MPO to amend Energy Act to improve market supervision

(ČIA) The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO) is preparing an amendment to the Energy Act, in which it wants to include proposals from the Energy Regulatory Office (ERO) to improve market surveillance. This was stated by the Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Síkela (for STAN), stating that other ERÚ proposals will address the solution to the energy crisis. There should also be greater consumer protection in the supplier of last resort (DPI) mode. J. Síkela asked the ERÚ to consult its proposals with the professional public and by April 30, 2022 write them in paragraphed wording.
