(ČIA) As part of legislative emergency, the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic approved a budget deficit increase from the originally approved CZK 320bn to CZK 500bn. KSČM MPs helped the ANO-ČSSD government enforce the proposal with their votes. The MPs also approved that the state of emergency announced by the government based on the request of regional governors will end on February 27, 2021 at the latest. It can also be earlier, i.e., as soon as the new pandemic act is published in the Collection of Laws.
