Mr Fiala: State agendas need to be revised and modernised

(CIANEWS) - The state's agenda needs to be significantly revised and modernised in order for the Czech Republic to function properly and be ready for the future. Prime Minister Petr Fiala (ODS) stated this at the 9th Congress of the Trade Union of State Authorities, adding that systemic changes are necessary to improve the budget balance and the state of public finances. At the economic conference of the Association of Independent Trade Unions, he stressed that the basic condition for the future is to ensure a predictable and sustainable state economy, adding that the government's commitment to reduce the public deficit to below 3% of GDP as soon as possible is valid.
