(CIANEWS) - By the end of 2023, the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic (MŽP) will support ecological transport with a total of CZK 600m from the National Recovery Plan. Municipalities, authorities, schools, public institutions or non-profit organizations can draw a subsidy of up to CZK 300,000 for a personal electric car or up to CZK 500,000 for an electric truck up to 3.5 t or for a passenger hydrogen vehicle. Thanks to the support of the Ministry of the Environment, 606 electric cars and 163 CNG vehicles are in operation. With the new challenge, their number will increase by at least 1,485 vehicles. The applicant can also use the support to purchase so-called smart charging stations. The amount of support is CZK 30,000 per station.
