NRR: Public finance deficit could total CZK 240bn
(ČIA) Given the Ministry of Finance's forecast, the general government deficit in 2020 is expected to reach CZK 240bn, which represents 4.3% of GDP. This stems from an information study on the fiscal costs of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Czech Republic by the National Budget Council (NRR). In terms of distribution, most of the deficit should fall to the state budget (ca. CZK 230bn).
