(ČIA) The SPOLU (TOGETHER) coalition began seeking on April 27, 2021, signatures for an extraordinary meeting of the Chamber of Deputies (PSP) to express no confidence in the ANO-ČSSD government. ODS chairman Petr Fiala said that if the ministerial cabinet did not have a majority in the PSP, it should not rule. According to him, the reasons for no confidence include the uncontrolled pandemic and vaccination, closed schools, conflict of interest, clientelism, inability to investigate the disaster in Bečva or the disruption of public finances. STAN movement chairman Vít Rakušan does not agree with the procedure, as it would mean that President Miloš Zeman would influence the formation of the next government. He therefore prefers to dissolve the Chamber.
