(ČIA) The Ombudsman has decided to enter, as an enjoined party, the proceeding about cancelling a part of the so-called vaccination regulation at the Constitutional Court. According to it, vaccination against Covid-19 will be mandatory as of March 2022 for selected professional groups and people over 60 years of age. Over the past week, 5,000 complainants who disagree with compulsory vaccination have contacted the ombudsman. The majority of them belong to one of the affected groups. If they are not vaccinated, some of them risk losing their job. Among other things, the complainants argue with concerns about possible health complications after vaccine application.
