(CIANEWS) - At the end of 2023, Orkla Foods Česko a Slovensko will shut down long-term loss-making operations in Panenské Břežany and Bzenec. This information was provided to ČIANEWS by spokesman Martin Frýdl, adding that the closures would affect approximately 250 employees. The brand production after the closing of the plants will be done by external partners from Central or Western Europe. The manufacturer of food products will use the savings to develop in many areas. This year, it is launching new products on the market under the Vitana, Májka and Hamé brands. In the long term, it also invests in sustainability, automation projects, efficiency increase and digitalisation of its operations.
