(ČIA) UPDATE - Czech Health Minister Petr Arenberger (ANO) resigned from his post in the ANO-ČSSD government on May 25, 2021. At the same time, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) announced that his successor will be the former minister Adam Vojtěch (for ANO). Mr Arenberger explained his departure by the unpleasant escalation of media pressure on his surroundings. President Miloš Zeman expressed his approval of Mr. Vojtěch’s nomination. He will sign the appointment decree on May 26. Subsequently, A. Vojtěch will be sworn in.
