(ČIA) Representatives of the Pirates and Starostové have tabled an amendment to the Pension Insurance Act to be discussed on July 9, 2021. The proposal is intended to end the conflict of interest so that companies whose real owner is a member of the government cannot obtain subsidies and public contracts. In practice, according to them, billions of crowns will be saved on subsidies. Representatives of the coalition propose to pay a one-time contribution to seniors in the amount of CZK 1,000 from the money saved. This was reported by the Pirates.
