(ČIA) The popularity of microflats, i.e. units up to 25 m2, is growing, especially among young people. Lidové noviny writes that they are becoming an alternative for young people to secure housing at a time when the growth of real estate prices has not been stopped even by the coronavirus pandemic. The main reason for the growing demand is finance. According to statistics from Trigema, Skanska Reality and CENTRAL GROUP, 1 m2 in a new apartment in Prague costs over CZK 108,000.
