Prague Airport acquired 15 e-cars, uses own PVPP

(CIANEWS) - Prague Airport has expanded the airport fleet by 15 Dacia Spring electric cars. Five of them are intended for carsharing, the rest will be used in various operational components of the airport. Another Nissan electric car has been serving in the baggage sorting office for four years. The airport's long-term goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. It plans to cover 100 % of its electricity consumption from renewable sources. It should be at least 72 % in 2023. In addition, the airport has been using its own photovoltaic power plant since 2022. In 2021, compared to 2009, it managed to reduce its carbon footprint by 72.5 %.
