(ČIA) The City of Prague approved a master plan document, which is to determine the further direction of the development of electromobility in Prague until 2030. The document was prepared by municipal company Operátor ICT. According to some estimates, in 2030 up to 200,000 e-cars could move in the territory of Prague, which would correspond to almost a third of all cars and small vans in the city. The plan also deals with the electrical distribution network and its capacity for connection and operation of charging points. As part of the first wave of construction, at least 750 charging stations should be put into operation in Prague by 2025. In the next stage by 2030, a total of 4,500 parking charging stations should be established.
