(CIANEWS) - Prague city councillors have approved an action plan for the transition to a circular economy for the years 2023-2025. It elaborates projects for city companies within the framework of the Circular Prague 2030 strategy. The stack of projects with the potential to save energy and raw materials has grown by 22 items to a total of 59. They are divided into four main areas - construction, water, waste and agriculture as well as food production. The city hall informed that the plans include reconstruction of the biogas plant in Chrást near Poříčany, launching of the operation of a cinder farm, preparation of an energy centre using waste heat, expansion of the plant for biomethane production from waste sludge or for the use of phosphorus from waste water.
