(CIANEWS) - Prague can take out a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) in the amount of up to CZK 23bn for the construction of the first section of the underground’s line D, Prague councillors have approved. As ČIANEWS reported earlier, the metropolis will be able to draw the loan gradually during the construction project. It will be able to put off instalments by up to eight years and pay off the principal within up to 40 years. The capital city can draw the loan in korunas or euros, with drawing in euros enabling interest rates below 2% p.a.
