(CIANEWS) - Compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, the sale of new flats in Prague grew by one-fifth to 540 units in the first quarter of 2023. In a year-on-year comparison, however, it represents a decrease of 30.77%. The sales thus remain the worst in the last 20 years, according to analyses conducted by Ekospol. General director and board chairman Evžen Korec added that the market was being dragged from the bottom mainly by investors now looking for an inflation-proof guarantee in the new flats.
