(CIANEWS) - Pražská energetika (PRE) has opened a charging hub for electric vehicles near the Congress Centre in Prague. A system of eight public stations will allow up to 16 electric vehicles to be recharged at the same time. The hub will be used, among other things, for charging the official fleet during the Czech Presidency of the European Union (CZ PRES). The set of seven AC charging stations with a capacity of 2 x 22 kW is complemented by one DC stand with a capacity of 75 kW enabling fast charging. The project was supported by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic and co-financed by the OP Transport - Metropolitan Network II project.
