(CIANEWS) - In July 2023, agricultural producer prices went down by 14.3% on the year. Industrial producers increased their prices by 1.4%; prices of construction work were higher by 4.8% and of market services for companies by 5.6%, according to figures published by the Czech Statistical Office. Energy prices rose by 4.4%. Without energy prices, industrial producer prices went up by 0.4%. In month-on-month terms, prices in agriculture were down by 4.0%, industry by 0.1% and services by 1.3%. In the construction sector, they increased by 0.1%. According to Eurostat, industrial producer prices in the EU decreased by 2.4% in June 2023 (by 0.5% in May). The highest jumps were reported from Hungary (29.5%) and Slovakia (18.2%). In the Czech Republic, they rose by 1.9%.
