(ČIA) In response to the Russian aggression against Ukraine, the Committee of Ministers decided on March 16, 2022 to exclude the Russian Federation from the Council of Europe, with immediate effect. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic informed that Czech diplomacy was closely involved in this step, which was necessary to protect the credibility of this human rights organization.
