Sandvik changed to Alleima
Sandvik Materials Technology has undergone a significant change to become an independent company.
After approval by Sandvik's shareholders, it will be listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm Exchange this year.
As part of this process, it was announced that Sandvik Materials Technology would become a separate company and bear a new name: "Alleima™".
The name Alleima™ combines the two main strengths of our business - alloys and materials - where "alei" is the older word for alloy and represents our foundation and "ma" means material.
In the name Alleima™, we found a name that perfectly sums up the core of what we do, as well as our uniqueness. We believe it will serve us very well in our journey to develop from the current leadership position in materials technology to the market leader in advanced materials the future.
The name and brand will be activated on the market on the day we are listed on the stock exchange, i.e. 31/08/2022.
From September 1, 2022, our company will be called Alleima CZ, spol. s.r.o.
