(CIANEWS) - At its meeting from May 11, 2022, the Senate will discuss, among other things, the government's proposed amendments, which include the abolition of the mandatory blending of bio-components into fuel, the narrowing of the range of vehicles subject to road tax or a reduction in excise duty on fuel by CZK 1.50 per litre. In addition, senators also have on their agenda an air protection bill that delays the ban on old coal-fired boilers by two years to September 2024.
