Síkela: Investment incentives to change to include PVI

(CIANEWS) - The government has approved the proposal submitted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO) changing the conditions for awarding investment incentives. Minister Josef Síkela (for STAN) said the regulation would shorten the approval period. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will have the option to decide on incentives, while the government will need to agree on the support of strategic projects. Incentives will be awarded only to projects with a higher added value, except for the regions with unemployment over 7%. In connection with the efforts to reduce dependency on Russian energy, the strategic projects will also newly include projects for photovoltaic installations (PVI).
