(CIANEWS) - Skanska has launched the sale of stage 2 of Modřany Sugar Factory, which will offer 126 flats in four residential sections. The offer includes primarily flats with two to four rooms plus kitchenette. The houses are close to the passive standard in the highest PENB energy performance category - A. There are 93 photovoltaic panels (PV) on the roofs of the buildings. Residents will be able to use recycled water. Gas consumption for domestic hot water preheating will be reduced by 63 photothermal panels and waste heat recovery. Six commercial units will be built on the ground floor and underground, among others, garages with preparation for charging stations for electric vehicles. Construction is expected to begin in winter 2023. The project is expected to be completed in 2025.
