Skanska will build D55 section for ŘSD
(CIANEWS) - The Road and Motorway Directorate of the Czech Republic (ŘSD) has started the construction of the D55 motorway between Moravský Písek and Bzenec. Skanska is the contractor of the project for CZK 1.16bn excluding VAT. Together with the motorway sections between Babice and Moravský Písek, a continuous 21-kilometre section of the D55 is now under construction. The construction also includes the Bzenec interchange, three bridges, one ecoduct for game migration and noise barriers with a total length of 1.2 km. The section is expected to be operational in 2024.
