(CIANEWS) - Engineering companies within the PPF-owned Škoda Group and carmaker ŠKODA AUTO have concluded an agreement on the transfer of rights to ŠKODA trademarks. They will thus be able to continue to use the trademarks under licence for a transitional period. Thanks to the agreement, the Mladá Boleslav-based carmaker plans to extend its existing trademark ownership rights. It also said that the agreement corresponds to the goals it has set itself in the NEXT LEVEL ŠKODA Strategy 2030. It said it plans to become one of the top five best-selling brands in Europe by the end of this decade. The parties have agreed not to disclose financial details of the deal.
