Škoda Transtech delivers first of 19 trams to Tampere
(ČIA) Škoda Transtech, a member of the Škoda Transportation Group, handed over on May 25, 2020, the first 100% two-way ForCity Smart Artic low-floor tram to Tampere. Gradually, 19 vehicles worth over EUR 100m will head to Finland's third largest city. The contract also includes three options for up to 46 additional trams. In the coming years, 29 trams will also run to Finland for a new line connecting Helsinki and Espoo.
