STAN: Government to extend state of emergency by 30 days
(CIANEWS) - The government will ask for an extension of the state of emergency for another 30 days at an extraordinary meeting of the Chamber of Deputies on May 19, 2022. This proposal will be submitted by Interior Minister and STAN chairman Vít Rakušan. The state of emergency, which allows the Ukrainian crisis in the Czech Republic to be resolved more quickly, would thus be extended until June 30, 2022. Thanks to the changes in the legislation, it will be possible to manage the current crisis without a state of emergency.
