Sweden Lists Entire Country on Airbnb

The listing—created by the San Francisco-based company in collaboration with Visit Sweden—features nine picturesque locations including a cosy glade, a beach with imposing limestone columns and awesome cliffs formed by an ice sheet. “We don't have an iconic monument like Big Ben or the Great Wall of China,” says Jenny Kaiser, president of Visit Sweden USA. “We have something else—'Allemansrätten,' or the 'freedom to roam'—which grants all people access to our beautiful and unique nature. Though the publicly owned spaces are listed for booking on the site, no booking is necessary. The spaces are free to use, but Visit Sweden only asks for one form of payment: Respect for the land and wildlife. (Forbes)
