Sweden’s Hancap group finalises acquisition of Czech glazed façades supplier Sipral
Sipral’s current sole owner Leopold Bareš is quoted as saying that the sale will bring Sipral great opportunities for further growth. Mr Bareš, who founded the company in 1991, will remain Chairman of the Board of Directors after the sale and will participate in Hancap’s strategic management in the field of glazed and aluminium façades. Sipral has been doing well recently, expecting CZK 1 billion in sales in 2017 and CZK 1.5 billion in 2018. Following Sipral’s acquisition, Hancap expects sales to rise to some CZK 5 billion. Sipral’s new manufacturing plant in Jirny, which was finished in 2008, is an attractive asset for Hancap as it provides a major competitive advantage for the company, which is able to secure up to 80% of its production in the Czech Republic.
