SZÚ: Delta variant dominates in 95 % of cases
(ČIA) The State Institute of Public Health (SZÚ) noted the dominance of the delta variant in 95 % of cases within discriminatory PCRs in the last 14 days and whole genome sequencing of SARS-CoV-2 positive samples in July 2021. In connection with holiday travel, there are probably also minor imports of other virus lines. A total of eight captured samples come from several laboratories and the affiliation to the variant will definitely be determined by whole genome sequencing.
