(ČIA) Specialists are developing a methodology and a web-based tool aimed at making the digitisation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) easier and more practical. Experts from the Brno University of Technology, the Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Tradesmen (AMSP) of the Czech Republic, the Research Institute for Innovation, and the University of Technology and Economics in České Budějovice are collaborating on the project. The development was supported by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TA CR) with almost CZK 4m. Iveta Šimberová, project director and vice-rector of the BUT, said that in order to remain competitive, companies should be able to recognise how and when to use new technologies. This is what the new programme is supposed to help with.
