The government to submit to opposition a list of measures to counter COVID-19

(ČIA) At a meeting on February 24, 2021, the government of the Czech Republic promised to submit to the opposition a reasoned list of measures it needs to fight COVID-19. Representatives of the opposition parties stated this after negotiations with the cabinet, stating that the government is planning a further extension of the state of emergency, otherwise it will not have sufficient tools to fight the epidemic. The chairman of the Pirates, Ivan Bartoš, stated that his party had not made any promise to Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) regarding the state of emergency.
