(ČIA) At a meeting of the Visegrad Group in Warsaw, Finance Minister Alena Schillerová (ANO) and representatives of the finance ministries of the V4 countries discussed plans for recovery from the pandemic. Mrs Schillerová said that the Czech Republic is to draw roughly CZK 180bn from the EU, which will be directed mainly to investment projects in the areas of digitalisation, green transformation, development, education and innovation. Other topics included international taxation of the digital economy, including the G7 proposal for a global minimum tax, and further joint action on taxonomy. The Czech government, together with the other V4 countries, is pushing for the inclusion of nuclear energy among sustainable energy sources and the introduction of realistic conditions for the use of natural gas. In this spirit, the V4 appeals to the EC.
