(CIANEWS) - In 2021, the Volvo Group Czech Republic increased its net turnover year on year from CZK 4.87bn to CZK 6.22bn. Its pre-tax profit grew from CZK 109.80m to CZK 309.94m. Revenue from the sale of new trucks totalled CZK 3.86bn (2020: CZK 2.76bn). In its annual report, the Volvo and Renault importer further stated that its servicing network comprised 17 outlets. In September 2021, Volvo Trucks was the first manufacturer in the Czech Republic to supply an FMX Electric 16T battery-powered electric truck on the market. The company also informed that it had no significant direct exposition in Ukraine, Russia or Belarus. Its 2022 truck sales target is similar to 2021 one. It also wants to continue increasing the number of servicing centres with estimated annual yields of approximately CZK 1.4bn.
