(ČIA) Volvo Trucks and DHL Freight have entered into a partnership to accelerate the roll-out of electric trucks for regional transport in Europe. This collaboration includes pilot tests with a fully electric Volvo FH truck with a total combination weight of up to 60 tonnes. From March 2021, the truck will be operated between two DHL Freight logistics terminals in Sweden. Volvo FL Electric and Volvo FE Electric trucks are currently being mass-produced for urban distribution. In 2021, sales of heavy electric trucks will begin in Europe.
