(CIANEWS) - The share of women in the logistics company Geis CZ has grown over time and now makes up about 40% of all employees. Jarislava Šindelářová, HR manager of Geis CZ, further stated that they are well represented across the whole spectrum of positions from the lowest to managerial positions. The predominance of women is clear in the warehouse of the e-shop dm drogerie markt in Pohořelice, which is provided exclusively by Geis for the drugstore company. Here, women make up 90% of all employees and include Ukrainian refugees. Women are also well represented in the project for AG Foods and babymarkt.de. Technological advances, picking and sorting machines and storage robots allow women to handle work that used to be more suitable for men.
