(ČIA) YIT plans to focus more on rental housing in 2021. Prospectively, this will involve up to 500 apartments. The developer sees the potential in the use of prefabricated parts. They will increase the quality of buildings and shorten the construction time. It also intends to make more use of renewable energy sources. It is also preparing new projects so that it can launch them during the years 2022-2023. It is also actively negotiating new acquisitions. In 2020, despite the pandemic, the company fulfilled the set tasks and sold almost 300 housing units in Prague. It thus achieved a turnover of almost CZK 2bn.
