YIT to start 500 flats and expand to rental housing

In 2018, YIT increased its sales to 341 low-energy flats (up 6% y/y) and posted a turnover in excess of CZK 1bn. In 2019, it plans to start building up to 500 flats in Prague 5, 9 and 11. Apart from that, the developer intends to enter the segment of rental housing. In the autumn, the company will also start building a multi-functional complex, Lappi Hloubětín, which will, apart from housing, also include commercial premises with an area of up to 3,500 m2.
