The project of our company - a supplier to the mining and construction industry - allows employees who are not entitled to parental leave and related financial benefits under Czech law to take at least twelve weeks of paid leave to care for a newborn or adopted child. The new HR policy contributes to the retention of employees, their well-being and the elimination of gender stereotypes. In a sector where the “muscle culture” still persists, we believe this is an important step.
