PROJECT #16-2024 Mental Health First Aid
The axis of our insurance institution's project is the organisation of certified mental health first aid courses for our employees. The purpose is to be able to provide immediate support to colleagues with symptoms of mental distress. One in eight people suffer from a mental disorder, and 4% of the population from depression. Yet the capacity of psychiatric specialists is dramatically overstretched. The aim is also to destigmatise these problems and promote inclusion. In the 100 staff certified so far, diverse professional groups of all ages are represented.
